The Stainless Steel Ball Transfer Unit is a fully press fit rolling component designed for environments with strong corrosion or strict cleanliness requirements. Typical applications include coastal metalworking, food grade parts handling, and chemical industry operations. Sizes range from 12 to 60, with outer diameters from 18 mm to 100 mm. Because it is fully pressed into the mounting surface, there are no gaps or crevices where dirt or moisture can accumulate. This unit remains firmly in place without shifting, even under heavy use.
All Parts Are Food-Grade SUS304 Stainless Stee
The body, adjusting ring, main ball, and secondary balls are all made of SUS304 food grade stainless steel. For high load versions, the main ball can also be made of SUJ2 bearing steel. Secondary balls are made of nylon or POM plastic for smooth movement. The surface is usually left untreated, but nickel plating is optional. If the main ball is not stainless steel, it is coated with rust preventive oil before delivery. This unit passes a 48 hour salt spray test, so it can withstand wet, salty, or acidic environments without rusting.
Load Capacities Up to 800 kg – Minimal Wear After 200,000 Cycle
Depending on the size, each unit supports loads from 21 kg to 800 kg, while international standard allowable loads range from 20 kg to 1200 kg. It can easily move electroplated parts and outdoor metal components. Because SUS304 stainless steel has a naturally smooth surface, rolling resistance is more than 25% lower than that of carbon steel units. The fully press fit structure provides excellent stability. After 200,000 cycles of testing, wear is less than 0.015 mm, resulting in much less maintenance in harsh, corrosive environments.
